How We Started
An Idea Turned Into a Mission
Home For Heroes FL is a nonprofit organization founded in 2026 by two individuals united by a shared desire to give back to the brave men and women who have served our country. What began as a vision to provide safe, stable, and affordable housing has grown into a broader mission to combat veteran homelessness and housing instability while helping veterans move toward lasting independence. Our vision extends beyond providing a place to live. Home For Heroes FL is committed to creating a supportive environment where veterans can find stability, dignity, and a renewed sense of purpose. Through housing and connections to career resources, mental health and wellness services, life-skills support, and other community resources, we aim to help each veteran build a stronger foundation for the future. At Home For Heroes FL, we believe those who answered the call to serve our country deserve a community that answers the call for them. Every hero deserves a place to call home.
Our Mission
Housing as a Foundation for Healing
We exist to end veteran homelessness in Florida — one family at a time. Through emergency housing, long-term placement, and wraparound support services, we walk alongside veterans on their journey from crisis to stability to thriving.

Every veteran is treated with the respect and honor they earned through their service.

We meet veterans where they are, without judgment, and walk with them every step of the way.

No one heals alone. We build networks of support that extend beyond housing.
